Steps for Donating & Nominating Heroes

Step 1: Nominate a Local Hero

Start by nominating a Local Hero who is currently serving in the military. To make a nomination, simply fill out the Nomination Form on our website with the following information:

Name of the Nominee (active-duty military member)
Deployment Information (location, unit, etc.)
Personal Story or Note (why this person deserves to be recognized)

Once submitted, your nominee will be added to our donation pool during the 30-day donation cycle.

Step 2: Donate Cigars (or funds toward shipping and operating costs)

Donate cigars to the program to help support the delivery of care packages to our heroes.

Where to Donate: You can drop off cigars at any official Cigars For Local Heroes distribution center*, Mr. C’s Cigar Lounge, or donate online through our website.
What to Donate: Any premium cigars are accepted, and we encourage you to contribute as many as you feel comfortable with.
Cash Donations: Cash donations are accepted!

Each donated cigar brings us one step closer to sending a care package to our local heroes.

*Mr. C's Cigar Lounge is currently the only Official CLH Distribution Center. Cigars are available for purchase at Mr. C's.

Step 3: Mr. C's Cigar Lounge Matches Your Donation!

For every five cigars donated*, Mr. C’s will add an additional Mr. C's House Cigar, ensuring that every hero gets the support they deserve.

Donation Matching: For every five cigars donated, Mr. C’s will add one house cigar to the package.
The Matching Cycle: Donations will be matched during the 30-day donation cycle, after which all cigars will be packaged and sent out to the nominated heroes.

*Mr. C's Cigar Lounge will donate one free house stick for every 5 cigars purchased from Mr. C's and donated to CLH

Step 4: Celebrate Community Impact

Once the cigars are sent, we’ll follow up with updates on our website and social media. You’ll see the impact of your donation, as we share heartfelt thank you messages from the recipients.

Impactful Moments: Hear directly from the local heroes you’ve supported, as well as the families who nominated them.

A Hero's Gratitude

At the end of the donation cycle, the cigars will be shipped directly to the deployed hero, along with a note of thanks from the community. The generosity of the people who nominate and donate truly makes a difference, and this is how we can keep the bond of support alive for those serving our country.
